GrandEdu Research School beteiligt sich an internationalem Buchprojekt zur Zukunft Asiens im Zeitalter der Künstlichen Intelligenz

Die Auswirkungen von Künstlicher Intelligenz auf Gesellschaft, Bildung, Kultur und globale Machtverhältnisse stehen weltweit im Fokus wissenschaftlicher Diskussionen. Mit einem neuen internationalen Buchprojekt unter dem Titel „Does Asia have the upper hand in the Age of AI?“ soll nun untersucht werden, wie sich insbesondere asiatische Staaten im Zeitalter der digitalen Transformation entwickeln und welche Rolle KI künftig für Kultur, Wirtschaft, Bildung und geopolitische Strukturen spielen wird.

Initiiert wird das Projekt von Prof. PhDr. Jan Vrba im Bereich digitale Bildung, KI und internationale Hochschulentwicklung. Prof. Jan Vrba ist Full Professor an der Universidad Azteca sowie Visiting Research Professor (Digital Education & AI) und Senior Research Fellow for International Programs (AI & Educational Innovation) an der GrandEdu Research School. Jan Vrba ist ebenfalls Lehrbeauftragter im Masterlehrgang MBA - Entrepreneurship und Global Business Strategy (Master of Business Administration).

Das wissenschaftliche Werk wird in Zusammenarbeit mit IGI Global Scientific Publishing veröffentlicht und soll internationale Forschungsbeiträge aus den Bereichen Artificial Intelligence, digitale Technologien, internationale Beziehungen, Kulturwissenschaften und Hochschulforschung vereinen. Besonders im Fokus stehen Themen wie die „Digital Silk Road“, der Einfluss von KI auf Popkultur und Medien sowie die Transformation traditioneller Werte in modernen asiatischen Metropolen.

Die Veröffentlichung richtet sich an Forschende, Hochschulen und internationale Experten, die sich mit den globalen Auswirkungen von KI beschäftigen. Ein besonderer Vorteil des Projekts besteht darin, dass sowohl das Buch als auch die einzelnen Kapitel wissenschaftlich indexiert werden sollen, unter anderem in SCOPUS. Darüber hinaus entstehen für die Autoren keine Publikationsgebühren.

Die GrandEdu Research School unterstützt das internationale Forschungsvorhaben aktiv und stärkt damit ihre Position als innovativer Akteur im Bereich digitale Bildung, internationale Wissenschaftskooperation und KI-Forschung. Durch die internationale Vernetzung mit Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen aus Europa, Asien und weiteren Regionen soll der wissenschaftliche Austausch zu den Chancen und Herausforderungen der digitalen Zukunft intensiviert werden.

„Künstliche Intelligenz verändert nicht nur Unternehmen und Bildungssysteme, sondern auch kulturelle Identitäten, gesellschaftliche Werte und geopolitische Machtstrukturen. Internationale Forschung und interdisziplinärer Austausch sind entscheidend, um diese Entwicklungen wissenschaftlich zu begleiten“, erklärt Prof. Jan Vrba.

Die Veröffentlichung des Sammelbandes ist für Oktober oder November 2026 geplant. Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler aus aller Welt sind eingeladen, sich mit eigenen Forschungsbeiträgen zu beteiligen.

The impact of Artificial Intelligence on society, education, culture, and global power structures has become a central topic in international academic discourse. A new international book project entitled “Does Asia have the upper hand in the Age of AI?” aims to explore how Asian countries are evolving in the era of digital transformation and what role AI will play in shaping culture, business, education, and geopolitical structures in the future.

The project is initiated by Prof. PhDr. Jan Vrba in the fields of digital education, Artificial Intelligence, and international higher education development. Prof. Jan Vrba is a Full Professor at Universidad Azteca as well as Visiting Research Professor (Digital Education & AI) and Senior Research Fellow for International Programs (AI & Educational Innovation) at the GrandEdu Research School. Jan Vrba also serves as a lecturer in the MBA program “Entrepreneurship and Global Business Strategy” (Master of Business Administration).

The scientific publication will be released in cooperation with IGI Global Scientific Publishing and aims to bring together international research contributions from the fields of Artificial Intelligence, digital technologies, international relations, cultural studies, and higher education research. Special focus areas include topics such as the “Digital Silk Road,” the influence of AI on popular culture and media, and the transformation of traditional values in modern Asian megacities.

The publication is intended for researchers, universities, and international experts dealing with the global implications of Artificial Intelligence. One of the major advantages of the project is that both the book and the individual chapters are expected to be academically indexed, including in SCOPUS. In addition, no publication fees will be charged to the authors.

The GrandEdu Research School actively supports this international research initiative, further strengthening its position as an innovative institution in the fields of digital education, international scientific cooperation, and AI research. Through international collaboration with universities and research institutions from Europe, Asia, and other regions, the project aims to intensify academic exchange on the opportunities and challenges of the digital future.

“Artificial Intelligence is not only transforming businesses and educational systems, but also cultural identities, social values, and geopolitical power structures. International research and interdisciplinary exchange are essential to scientifically accompany these developments,” explains Prof. Jan Vrba.

The publication of the edited volume is planned for October or November 2026. Researchers and scholars from around the world are invited to contribute their own research papers and academic insights.
